Butter Bean Roasted Red Pepper and Garlic Hummus

What are Butter Beans?


Ingredients

2 15-oz cans Butter Beans

1 large organic red pepper

3 large heads fresh garlic

2 medium green onions chopped

Juice of 3 organic lemons

1 cup Italian flat leaf parsley, chopped

1 Tbs fresh rosemary chopped

6 Tbs Tahini (sesame paste – optional)

½ tsp Celtic Sea Salt

1 Tbs Braggs Amino Acids or wheat free Tamari

2 tsp ground Cumin

½ cup expeller pressed fruity extra virgin olive oil

dash Cayenne pepper

 

Garnish with paprika

 

Roast garlic and pepper

Drain and rinse beans

Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth, use additional lemon juice or olive oil to reach desired consistency.

 

Serve with raw veggies or seed crackers
